Well, it was amazing!!! I loved it and know that I will watch Life On The Murder Scene for years to come!

The cover/insert thing has our prior cartoon couple in living version and it really looks like they were to be wed, what with the girl's dress. When it's just opened they're a bit blood splashed & on the quad-fold completely open position, we see the lovely couple together under the band's thanks, looking their non-bloodied best. On the opposite side, we see the girl's mouth and she's bloodied (there's even some on her teeth... unless it's lipstick) ;) On the actual cd/dvd case, which opens out quad-fold, the girl is on a table in the mourge covered in a sheet that she's bled through & the opposite shows the guy in a live version of the drawing Gerard did of the half-face. That was a nice surprise. In the middle are two pics of the couple and her shoes are really cool. The couple are actually featured on both dvds. The cd disk is just red and black.

How can you not love these guys? *sigh*

There is now a trimuvirate of clips from the DVD!!!! And if that didn't make life amazing enough... we can now preorder the DVD! The first 3000 (although the actual order site says 2000) will get an autographed booklet & automatic entry to win a trip to LA for two to hang out with the Quintet of Fabulosity while they record the next album in May!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, & ya' get 4 more of those nifty Three Cheers postcards too!

So we all know I've pre-ordered... and I am keeping my fingers crossed and will doing my best not to incur any negative karma because it'd be a really great birthday present (May 7th) and ya' know, life event, to be the one to win. By the by, jacket arrived and is totally lovely. It is still in the plastic and awaiting the appropriate unveiling at the next event I can see them. *le sigh*

Well there's just no getting past it, I mean, if they're going to release trailers for their upcoming DVD then this is just what we'll have to put up with. If you're reading this, I assume you know these things, but in case you don't and you'd like to see it... this way please...

All I'll say is that I love their memory of my home town, Philadelphia... and I'm so not surprised.


They're studio bound and I know I couldn't be happier. It's like New Year's Day all over again!
