I seriously forgot to go to Jury Duty.
I have no idea how I did that. I'm one of those annoying citizens that never tries to get out of it and does due diligence by showing up and waiting around like some twit only to be told that upon review of my questionnaire or having been questioned that I am indeed, excused. Always wanted to be on a jury but alas I am perpetually persona non grata.
So, I forgot and the only thing that clued me in was hearing someone say "jury" on television. LOL! So I've called the Circuit Court Office and they say I can come in tomorrow, it's no biggie.
How much do you want to bet it's a ruse to get me in an either imprison me for the 30 days or hit me with a fine of $1000... unless those things on the reverse of the summons is some government prole's idea of a joke.
