Okay, so I went on for a few days pretty well with updates but have been absent for a bit. I'm still on my Twilight series break. BEE was well worth my time (infinite, you made me laugh with your comment on the last post about BEE!)
And something happened between my eye-rolling during my Twilight series reading & Rules of Attraction reading... I rediscovered an interest in an idea I had for a story & have been jotting notes & doing research for the last few days. The ideas are still rolling at a good clip but I do have to say it's amazing the things I recall from my Genetics classes as a Bio major and equally ridiculous the things I've forgotten (I'm talking seriously, basic simple shit, that when I read it, I say "Of course!"). If nothing else, it's an uneasy reminder that sometimes actual learning wasn't the goal, only memorization for the short term to pass an exam & keep up my GPA.
Just what parents send us all to college for. *eye-roll* On the upside, the latest edition of Scientific American just came in the post & it's all about the future of human evolution or more correctly, The Evolution of Evolution. I'm all over it.
Okay, so I must dash because I've more to get down while the I'm in the middle of a mental torrential downpour of ideas. ;)
Besos!

Good to see you writing past November (I know you always do, but we never hear about it). Would love to hear more!
Have a great solstice and holiday season.

I'm excited about your new work! "The Black River" sounds fascinating & I can't wait to hear more about it. You're always catching great ideas, so I totally am not surprised. :) Keep me updated on your progress.
And about me writing past November... yeah, I'm going to try to be a bit more post-prone (isn't that my goal every year?) & discuss what's going on as we all trundle along in the space between NaNos. ;)
Hope you're dug out before New Year's Eve. ;)
